Initially, the only way to play the new maps is by purchasing the EXPANSION PACK “CLOAKED IN SILENCE.” The ranking system will replace player levels on the scoreboard and go from F to S++, with 21 ranks total. Most changes are smaller refinements though some stick out, such as the addition of the previously teased combat knife addition, and the replacement of player levels with a new ranking system.

Konami has revealed the full patch notes for the Metal Gear Online update that will launch alongside of the Cloaked in Silence content on March 15.
